Your well-behaved pets are also welcome, by arrangement. Please note, the garden is not fenced.

You can take advantage of the easy access to your own patio with table and chairs to enjoy evening drinks or alfresco meals or relaxing in the sun loungers. Additionally, you can even glimpse Loch Ness close through the trees.

Accommodation

The lounge:

is open plan with two comfortable sofas and a large flat screen TV offering full range of Sky channels, video library, iPod dock, WiFi broadband and a telephone. Patio doors lead out from the lounge and allow nice views to the river. There is also a real log fire in the lounge excellent for adding atmosphere in the colder months – initial fuel is provided for this.

Dining area:

for seating six people within the open plan living area adjacent to, but separate from, the fully integrated galley style kitchen, which offers views towards the abbey church.

Kitchen facilities:

include electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine. There is also a full complement of high quality kitchen equipment and utensils.

Bedrooms:

There are two bedrooms in Riverside Cottage – both have flat screen TV’s with Freeview channels and iPod doc stations. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed, and en-suite shower and bath, basin and WC.

The second bedroom:

is downstairs and has twin beds and a couple of pull out visitor beds. The downstairs bathroom is adjacent and has a bath with shower over, a basin and WC. Access into the cottage is easy for wheelchair users and so is an ideal choice for less able visitors who can use the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Club Cottage

This Loch Ness self-catering cottage is child and pet friendly and is perfectly situated on the riverside with views from all the rooms yet still offering seclusion.  Beautifully decorated and equipped for relaxation and ambiance Club Cottage has access to all facilities in the Highland Club. 

Club Cottage is a few moments’ walk from the foot of Loch Ness, where there are fantastic views of the loch and the hills beyond. Additionally, you will find the on site Boat House Restaurant is only a few minutes’ walk away. You can see the Boat House website by clicking here.

There is also a convenient entrance to the Abbey buildings close by and the gym is a minute’s walk from the cottage. The Highland Club facilities at your disposal include table tennis, badminton, football, tennis, croquet, fishing rights and on site restaurant.

Top of the Fort

Top of the Fort, is a unique Penthouse with large private wrap-around balcony terrace. It overlooks Loch Ness, the Caledonian Canal and mountains and is sited on top of the original Fort Augustus. Therefore, it is the perfect choice for a romantic break, for friends and family holidays. Additionally, there is free broadband WiFi.

This apartment is a rather striking, light-filled and spacious accommodation. There are floor to ceiling windows so you can access the balcony terrace from all rooms. Included in the rental of Top of the Fort, you will also have access to the Club Lounge with its WiFi, snooker table, table football, books and games. Brother’s Wing 5 – Old Armoury

Brothers Wing 5  Old Armoury is a ground floor, holiday home on the shores of Loch Ness. It was built in a unique location within The Highland Club and provides self-catering holiday accommodation to remember!

Brothers Wing 5 Old Armoury is an excellent choice for any group or family. Additionally, it is fully equipped with WiFi and there is a  baby cot and high chair available upon request. It is an excellent choice for those of us who are less mobile.

This modern two bedroom apartment sits in the Brothers Wing. Furthermore, it is one of the most historically important sections of the Highland Club. It sits within the original bastion walls.  This area was once the armoury store, therefore part of the fort’s original defense.

Brothers Wing 5 Old Armoury is spacious and comfortable. Additionally, it benefits from its own entrance 10 meters from the adjoining parking area. Consequently, it is one of the most convenient and accessible properties within The Highland Club. You are immediately on the shores of Loch Ness once outside this unique apartment.

The Highland Club also has its own picnic and barbeque area within the grounds. In addition, it is just a 2-minute walk to the Boat House Restaurant.

Torr is a two-bedroom self-catering family holiday apartment in The Raven Wing at Fort Augustus Abbey. This compact but spacious flat has pleasant views across the front lawns to the Highland Club tennis court and beyond to the Caledonian Canal.

The accommodation is certainly suitable for families of all ages; for mum and dad, it is therefore ideal for a quiet, restful retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life. There are also lots of activities for the family such as tennis badminton football, water sports; the list is certainly endless. A family holiday that, indeed, has everything.

Torr is a ground floor flat that is wheelchair accessible although it does not have a grade nor full equipment for a disabled person. A rather more appropriate description is to say it is suitable for partially disabled persons; there are no steps to negotiate on arrival. The bathrooms are spacious but are not specifically for wheelchair users.
