This luxury Loch Ness holiday apartment is in the Moat House beside the front entrance. From the twin bedroom and the living room in Moat House 1 you can enjoy views across the expansive cricket field and tree lined avenues of the Highland Club.

Originally part of the Fort Augustus gun powder store built around 1729 by General Wade, it has since been carefully renovated to a high standard. It still incorporates many original architectural features.

Staying in Moat House 1, you are just a rather short walk from the shore of Loch Ness, home to the famous monster, the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen way. The fabulous location of this apartment makes it an ideal central point for exploring the Highlands and Islands by car. Additionally, the Ben Nevis range and Aonach Mor Gondola are less than an hour away.

Eating out? The Boat House Restaurant is moments away with beautiful views of the world famous Loch Ness!

This self-catering holiday apartment offers a rather memorable family vacation in the Highlands of Scotland.

This is a two-storey property with two bedrooms on ground level and two entrances. One entrance is on ground level facing the Moat House and gardens and the other is on the first floor. This layout which gives easy access to the Cloisters, Club Lounge and other facilities. An exceptionally well appointed apartment with high ceilings and alcoves giving a sense of space and calm, decorated to a high standard.  Paintings and prints by Scottish artist  Jack Vetriano, amongst others, adorn the walls throughout Moat House 1. The apartment also has access to all club facilities including the gym, tennis courts, table tennis and giant chess set in the Cloister gardens.

The lounge:

you can reach the lounge via a hallway and stairs to the first floor where you will find two sumptuous sofas and an array of books and videos for your relaxation and enjoyment. TV, Radio, DVD, Video payer and Free WiFi are also at your disposal. Also a sturdy solid wood dining table that seats six people sits in the living area just close the kitchen.

A very well equipped kitchen:

with all mod cons including gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, combo washing/drying machine, fridge/freezer, toaster and more. Sturdy granite worktops throughout the kitchen. Gas central heating and hot water.

The master bedroom:

contains a comfortable King size bed within a rather large spacious room with vaulted ceiling and built in wardrobes; in addition to its own plush en-suite comprising free standing roll top bath with separate shower and its own TV and DVD player.

Bedroom two:

contains three x single beds and is yet a spacious light area ideal for children with its own TV and DVD player and a family bathroom next door.
