It has been transformed into a relaxing and comfortable room. In addition to the full size snooker table, there is a kids pool table (or a reasonable sized pool table, if you want to regain some confidence after trying out your skills on the full size snooker table!) Guests can enjoy choosing from the range of books and board games, or simply relax in the lounge while the children play pool. As you enjoy the stunning architecture and stained glass with a glass of wine, soft lighting, and even some socializing with fellow guests, which we highly recommend - it is always a joy to check in our guests from all over the world, and everyone has their own fascinating stories to share.
The friendly atmosphere, that the Abbey offers, has become as special to the guests and staff as the scenery and the architecture themselves. It's almost like the monks were on to something. It truly is a special place.
The Club Lounge can be used as a meeting room for friends or a place to chill and relax. Additionally, you can bring in some wine or whisky for a quiet drink, while watching your friends try to place snooker.
The Anta furniture is built for comfort and the stained glass windows adds to the authenticity.
