Gruinyards is the “look-out on Loch Ness”, a stunning top floor two-bedroom apartment in the old Monastery building with spectacular Loch views from anywhere. It has beautiful furnishings and every convenience so it makes a truly memorable self-catering holiday.

It is unique in having windows and views on three sides so gets the sun all day long. This makes it fantastic for lounging around and relaxing if you have probably done enough for the day.

This beautiful apartment boasts a large and beautiful bright and airy living-dining room complete with a full kitchen. There is also an elegant, spacious master bedroom and wonderful en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath. From here you can even enjoy the views over Borlum Hill.

Living room:

Spacious and cosy with comfortable sofa-bed so able to accommodate fifth and sixth persons – alternatively use the comfortable double Aerobed to have the big master bedroom as a family bedroom. High sloping ceilings create the feeling of airiness while managing to be warm, friendly and welcoming at the same time. Similarly, it combines the old and the new, with magnificent stone mullioned windows and stylish contemporary furnishing. FreeSat TV and CD player provided.

Dining area:

Quality wooden table with space to cater for six people.

Kitchen:

Black granite worktop complete with all the modern conveniences you would expect from an apartment as unique as Gruinyards; dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas hob, electric oven, wall-mounted microwave.

Master bedroom:

Large and comfortable bedroom with king size bed, overlooking the Cloister Gardens. The en suite bathroom has a stand alone bath tub with a window letting in the sunlight so you can enjoy even more views towards the hills.

Twin bedroom: 

Furthermore, it has a very comfortable and cosy twin bedroom, loved by children. Additionally, there is a second bathroom and a high quality double sofa bed in the living room or the automatic double Aerobed in the main bedroom.

There are also several guide books to the Highlands and the local area as well as Ordnance Survey and large scale walkers’ maps. In addition, in case the weather is less than perfect, the apartment has a large wide screen TV and a range of classic or family films on DVD as well as games and books.

You can even enjoy lunch or dinner in the nearby Boat House Restaurant and Monster Activities will help you work up that appetite with  a range of fun family activities. White water rafting, kayaking on the loch, archery and clay pigeon shooting to name a few.

Extras included in booking:

All bed linen and towels, including pool towels. Furthermore, there is a special welcome pack provided on your arrival. This includes a range of small, tasty snacks.
Cot and highchair also available for a small fee and there is a small charge (£25) for use of the sofa bed or Aerobed.
Access to the Club Lounge and also the indoor heated swimming pool at no cost.
