This first-floor, one bedroom self-catering apartment is in the Raven Wing. Formerly the science block of the Fort Augustus Abbey Boys School, it has also seen some fantastic renovations. Gladsheim features modern comforts and conveniences within the historic setting of the abbey and its grounds.

Gladsheim is accessed up one flight of stairs so consequently has lovely views across the Abbey grounds, and offers a real sense of peace and intimacy. Open plan living-dining space:

In the lounge are double glass doors to a Juliet balcony that looks out over the original fort bastion wall and grounds, to the Caledonian Canal.

The kitchen area:

is fitted with granite work surfaces and top of the range appliances. Microwave, fridge, freezer dishwasher and washing machine. There is also every utensil and cooking aid you will need.

The bedroom:

features a wonderful four poster bed, wardrobe and carved wood furniture and lovely upholstered window seat from which to enjoy the additional view of the expansive front lawn and cricket pitch.

The bathroom:

also comprises high quality fittings and features slate flooring, a granite vanity surface, and a large mirror.
