Dalwhinnie
Dalwhinnie stands by the riverbank at Highland Club Scotland, Fort Augustus Abbey. The entrance faces the River Tarff and is a sun hot spot. A large entrance hall has a spacious storage cupboard, and leads through to the hallway, family bathroom and living area.
Pet friendly, Dalwhinnie is an ideal holiday accommodation; it is also child friendly making it an excellent choice for a self-catering family holiday.
From the lounge of Dalwhinnie, you can walk through the patio doors onto the patio with table and chairs – great for dining alfresco. From there you look onto the Abbey Church, an impressive building, and from the Atrium walk out the main door and you look across the lawns onto the river, which is a lovely place for sitting in the summer or maybe an hour or two of relaxed fishing.
Dalwhinnie Activities
Our guests often enjoy visiting the many beautiful areas of the Scottish Highlands. However, you don’t need to travel far to keep the kids entertained. There is plenty to enjoy in the nearby village of Fort Augustus.
The Caledonian Canal Centre has just re-opened after a period of refurbishment and is open to visitors. Similarly, you can visit Cruise Loch Ness on the RIB or the more leisurely Legend of Loch Ness. You can enjoy these and much, much more.
