The Ross is rather warm and cosy throughout the year; it is therefore an ideal base for a family holiday or enjoying quality time with friends.

Activities

Walking, riding, canoeing –  there are no limits for things to to.

For many, holidays are for relaxing and The Ross is a rather quiet place to enjoy the refinary and relaxing atmosphere of this historic Abbey. Alternatively, you can use your holiday here for fun and adventure on and around Loch Ness.

Furnishings are very comfortable and the rooms spacious, retaining many of the original Abbey features so you never forget what a lovely building you are staying in. The windows in the master bedroom for example – you will sit up in bed staring at the windows, not so much through them, but upon them, as they are so beautifully crafted.
