This fabulous holiday rental apartment is set on two floors and situated at the top of the Moat House, one of the original and more architecturally stimulating buildings in the abbey at Fort Augustus. The apartment has excellent views all round of the cloisters and the cricket field to Fort Augustus village and the hills beyond. .

The accommodation is warm and cosy throughout the year and is an ideal base for a  family holiday for enjoying quality time with the family or friends. Walking, riding, canoeing - the options are limited only by the mind.  For many, holidays are for relaxing and here is a place to quietly enjoy the refined and relaxed atmosphere of this historic Abbey.

Furnishings are very comfortable and the rooms spacious, retaining many of the original Abbey features so you never forget what a lovely building you are staying in. The windows in the master bedroom for example -  you will sit up in bed staring at the windows, not so much through them, but upon them, as they are so beautifully crafted.

Facilities
The lounge is spacious and well equipped with hi fi home cinema,  DVD and Sky satellite TV reception. Living flame feature fireplace and dining area. Lovely views over the cricket fields across the Caledonian canal towards the village of Fort Augustus.
Fully fitted separate kitchen with lundry facilities, washing machine dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven. All items required for self catering are provided  - just bring yourselves and your food ! - though many visitors like to sample the local restaurants at least on some days.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms, both upstairs.
The master bedroom has the most attractive and unique windows and is altogether a very nice room with an en-suite shower and a king sized bed and wide screen TV.

The second bedroom has twin beds. 
Upstairs bathroom with bath, basin, WC shaving point and towel rail.
Travel cot and high chair available on request.
