Self-catering just got even better! With the privacy of a luxurious riverside cottage, the facilities of the Highland Club, the Boathouse restaurant on site and the picturesque little village of Fort Augustus and Loch Ness on the doorstep what more could you ask for in a holiday cottage in Scotland ? This is just perfect for all the family, including less able members of the family, and your pets are welcome too.
Riverside Cottage is sumptuous in its décor and has all the modern conveniences to hand that you could ever want to make this a memorable holiday. So frequently we hear, “just like home but better” from visitors to this adorable cottage on the riverbank. Unlike the rest of the Highland Club you are able to bring a dog to Courtyard Cottages because they have their own garden grounds so your well behaved pets are welcome, by arrangement. Please note, the garden is unfenced.
You will love the easy access to your own patio with table and chairs to enjoy evening drinks or alfresco meals or relaxing in the sun loungers, accompanied only by the sound of the river burbling at the bottom of the garden and the breeze in the alders lining the river bank - sooo soothing, you will want to snooze on the patio the whole week through, with a contented smile fixed on your face of course! You can even glimpse Loch Ness from your lounger tantalisingly close through the trees.
For the less sedate and kids too there is lots of stuff to keep them busy the whole week, even when it’s raining, there are lots of indoor games like table tennis, table football, pool and snooker and an indoor heated swimming pool and spa.
