Abbots Rest self catering apartment, accommodation with a view of Loch Ness Situated in the monastery building at The Highland Club in Fort Augustus, the Abbots Rest and is a wonderfully spacious and luxurious holiday retreat, an exceptional apartment within the unique setting of this historic abbey and its grounds.
This second-floor, three bedroom apartment is accessed via the beautiful cloister walk at the heart of the development, so you are never more than a few steps away from all the facilities The Highland Club has to offer. Inside, it features modern comforts and conveniences, and is decorated with touches of rich highland fabric and colour – it makes an ideal choice for a family or small group wishing to explore the area.
This apartment abounds with natural light, and there are beautiful views over the terraced Monastery lawn with panoramic vista of Loch Ness to one side and over the characterful Cloister Garden to the other. The open plan living space features wooden floors and oak dining table and chairs plus a modern kitchen with granite worktops. Entertainment options include a flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD player, micro audio system and a good selection of books, DVDs and games.
Accommodation
The large ensuite master bedroom overlooks the Cloister Garden with its unique stonework. The bedroom contains a sleigh bed and built-in wardrobes, while the spacious en-suite bathroom has luxury fittings with a bath and shower. There is a second double bedroom and a third twin bedded room overlooking Loch Ness. There is a second family bathroom with a bath and power-shower over the bath. With the use of a small double sofa bed in the living space this apartment can accommodate up to eight people.
Development at the complex is still continuing. It should be noted that the rental price of this property reflects the fact that work at The Highland Club is not yet complete, but this should not affect the enjoyment of yout stay at the Highland Club.
