Hillview Cottage is a cosy, comfortable traditional Scottish cottage dating back to 1852 which has been modernised to a high standard. It is located in the village of Lewiston, near Drumnadrochit one of the oldest villages in Scotland and within half mile of Loch Ness. It is the perfect location for Scottish highland holidays being a great activity centre but also easy access to a wide range of things to do and see for both adults and children alike. The cottage is only 250 yards from the Great Glen Way (walking and cycling ) and is ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round.

There is an excellent bar restaurant (The Loch Ness Inn) just yards from the cottage so no driving necessary! The cottage has excellent facilities including: central heating, Modern fitted dining kitchen with washing machine, gas hob electric oven and microwave, large enclosed garden with paved barbecue area and garden furniture.
Lewiston, is only half a mile from the village of Drumnadrochit where you will find shops, post office, hotels, restaurants, pubs and the five star Loch Ness visitor Centre and only 1 mile from the world famous Urquhart Castle - one of the top visitor attractions in Scotland.
From Hillview cottage it is only a 10 minute walk to the famous Urquhart Bay!! at Loch Ness. There are also a number of high and low level circular hill walks from the cottage. The Great Glen Way a 73 mile long distance path passes close to the cottage.
