Two bedroom ground floor self catering holiday rental in the Old School, Fort Augustus Abbey, Loch Ness.
Living space
Spacious Open plan living/dining/kitchen area. This room has double height ceilings and huge original sash windows with lovely views over the grounds towards the Caledonian Canal and hills. The kitchen area, which features an island, is fully fitted with modern units and granite worktops and includes electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washer/drier, fridge, freezer, microwave and all the usual cooking utensils. Dining table for 4. The lounge area has two sofas. Flat screen TV, DVD player and CD micro-system.
Bedrooms
Master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom, with black granite vanity surface, slate flooring and large mirror, including shower, bath, wash hand basin and toilet.
Twin bedroom, bathroom adjacent with roll-top bath and shower attachment, wash hand basin and toilet.
Highland Club Facilities available for self catering guests
Tennis court, croquet, table tennis, giant chess, boules and other activities are available within the grounds of the Abbey. The Monastery lawn, with loch-side barbecue and seating area.
The Boathouse Restaurant, on the shores of Loch Ness, is just a few minutes walk away and the luxurious Club Lounge with billiards table, wireless internet access and comfortable seating is available for your use.
