This spacious apartment has many original features in particular a beautiful feature fireplace (not in use). Tastefully decorated by Scottish interior design team ANTA, coupled with exquisite furnishings and antiques this apartment is very special. The open plan living area is spacious and the kitchen fitted to an exceptional standard. From this bright room a wall if original arched windows frames the beautiful southerly views over the cloisters.

Set in more than 20 acres, the landscaped private gardens are surrounded by the Caledonian Canal, River Tarff and the western shores of Loch Ness.  As a guest you will have access to all The Highland Club has to offer. Facilities included are loch-side restaurant, swimming pool and spa (available spring 2010), tennis court, outdoor table tennis, concierge and large outdoor chess set in the cloister gardens. Within the stunning grounds outdoor seating, tables and BBQ\'s are also provided for guest use
The Highland Club is situated within 2 minutes walk from the centre of Fort Augustus. Amenities include a number of places to eat and to purchase provisions and quality local produce. There is a Tourist Information Centre, many local attractions and beautiful walks without the need to drive if you prefer.

Bathrooms: 2 Bathrooms, 2 Separate WC\'s

Kitchen: Cooker, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron, newly fitted high specification kitchen with top specification utensils/kitchen equipment.

General: Central Heating, House Linen & Sky Free view.  A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

Dining: Spacious open plan living area with seating for 6. 

Entertainment:
Satellite TV, music system, board games. The Highland Club will offer spa facilities (available spring 2010) The Great Hall is available for guests use with snooker table and quiet area for relaxation (available early summer 2009).

Abbey facilities:
Facilities included are THE BOATHOUSE RESTAURANT providing an idyllic setting on the shores of Loch Ness in which you can enjoy delicious, locally sourced food. The HIGHLAND CLUB SPA AND SWIMMING POOL will be available autumn 2010. Within the stunning grounds OUTDOOR PICNIC TABLES AND BBQs are provided for guest use; outdoor TABLE TENNIS, CROQUET LAWN, GIANT CHESS and CHILDREN\'S ADVENTURE PLAY AREA promise to keep everyone amused. The Monks refectory has been transformed into a CLUB LOUNGE with its oak panelled walls and stained glass windows, providing a sumptuous area to relax with friends or enjoy a game of SNOOKER (WIFI access available).

Please note that building and restoration work at the Abbey is ongoing and this is reflected in the current tariffs.
