This light and bright 2nd floor apartment has an open plan kitchen and living space with large windows that over look the grounds, towards the Caledonian Canal, and the glorious mountains beyond. The kitchen with its granite worktops is fully fitted with oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and a full compliment of quality kitchen equipment and utensils.

The oak dining table and chairs are set off beautifully by the solid oak flooring in this light and bright living area.

The master bedroom with its original refurbished cast iron & brass Kingsize bed has excellent en-suite facilities. The matching twin beds in the 2nd bedroom are extremely comfortable, with high quality towels and linen all provided, enjoying sole use of the adjacent bathroom with a power shower over the bath.

Living locally we are able to offer SHORT BREAKS for just 3 nights or more.

Set in Fort Augustus Abbey, this beautiful Grade A listed building is set amongst 20 acres of glorious private grounds, surrounded by Loch Ness, two rivers and the picturesque Caledonian Canal. There's a great tennis court with 2 rackets supplied, croquet lawn with croquet set, picnic tables and barbeque all within the private grounds of The Abbey.

Minutes from the Aonach Mor Apartment, the pretty village of Fort Augustus lies on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, with a succession of locks and a wonderful swing bridge that takes boats onto Loch Ness. The village itself gives you access to everything you need for the perfect holiday, including shops, excellent restaurants, bars, boat trips and some very beautiful walks.
