This tastefully furnished and freshly decorated first floor apartment offers spectacular views over the Cloister Gardens and Monastery, with their unique stonework, arched windows and majestic towers. The large, intricate stained glass windows in the living room, the high ceilings and the SE aspect make this flat particularly bright, airy and unique. The Loch, the Boathouse Restaurant, and the quaint village of Fort Augustus, with a  selection of pubs, cafes and retaurants are only a stones-throw away. The well-tended and expansive abbey grounds with cricket pitch , tennis and badminton court , croquet, table tennis, picnic and barbecue area are on the doorstep.

 

Facilities and Layout

The flat is generously proportioned comprising:

-Entrance hallway

-Spacious, well designed bathroom including free-standing shower , bathtub and heated towel rail.

-2 good-sized bright bedrooms, one with double, the other with 2 single beds.

-Large living, dining area (30 Sq.Mtrs) with cosy sofa corner and solid oak furniture. Beautifully ornate stained-glass bay windows  and original wall cove add to the uniqueness of this spectacular apartment.  TV with integrated DVD player . Selection books, local information and games, CD player and radio.

-Brand new fully- equipped open plan kitchen containing gas hob/oven, dishwasher , washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, toaster,microwave, kettle and coffee maker .

Full gas central heating. Ironing and drying facilities, hairdryer.

Short breaks available  - min. 3 nights 

The prices reflect the fact that restoration work is currently on-going at the abbey . This may cause, if at all, minimal disruption during daytime hours . If you would like a current status report please contact the owner.  



Extras included in booking:

Bed Linen, towels and cleaning. (A surplus charge of 35 pounds will apply for a 5th person to be paid on arrival).

Gas and Electric

Parking spot in front of building.

Use of all Highland Club facilities (fishing rights, tennis courst, spa and swimming pool, Club Lounge) as available.

Should you fancy a round of golf at the local club please feel free to use the golfing set available . Anyone can play there !

Complimentary use of tennis and badminton raquets.
