The Moat House is the wonderful old building that greets you as you drive into the grounds at Fort Augustus Abbey.
Now renovated the Moat House provides a selection one two and three bedroom apartments on three floors. All the accommodation is fully modernised and high quality as you would expect in a historic building like this. The majority of apartments in the Moat house are holiday rentals, as self catering holiday accommodation, but a few are used for residential apartments and second homes.
Where better to setup a second home so close to Loch Ness and Inverness the Highland capital, is only a boat ride away or one hour by car. For the benefit of holiday makers to the Abbey, the views from the Moat house windows are superb, peaceful and interesting.
