Christmas and New Year (Hogmanay) accommodation for 2008/9

Loch Ness is a favourite year round holiday destination and accommodation is often hard to find especially at peak times like Christmas and New Year, so it is essential to book early in order to get what you want.
Hogmanay as it is called in Scotland is a special time here at Loch Ness and many local villages organise their own festivities and informal gatherings. Fort Augustus is a great place to spend Christmas and Hogmanay and a great base from which to see events around the loch

Many of you like to get away from it all at Christmas and where better than a luxury self catering apartment at the abbey. You can often enjoy a white Christmas here in the Highlands if not at low level you can drive, or climb into the hills as the higher you go the more likely you are to find snow.
