Dalwhinnie - 2 bedroom cottage - sleeps 4 

This lovely cottage has just become available to Highland Club Scotland for self catering holidays and is available at very competetive prices for 2012. The cottage stands by the riverbank at the Highland Club Fort Augustus Abbey.

From the lounge, walk through the patio doors onto the patio with table and chairs - great for dining alfresco. From there you look onto the Abbey Church, an impressive building where the swimming pool is located so easy to just walk across the courtyard for a dip!

Walk out the back door and you look across the lawns onto the river, which is a lovely place for sitting in the summer or maybe an hour or two of relaxed fishing.    

FACILITIES 

Master Bedroom Upstairs with king-size bed, ensuite bath and separate shower, built in double wardrobe. 
Bedroom 2 upstairs is spacious room with twin beds, WII/Play Station console and free standing wardrobe. 

Bathrooms: Both bathrooms have a bath, the ensuite also has a shower cubicle with a power shower. Both bathrooms have high quality fittings, heated towel rail and ceramic tiles to the walls and floors. Luxury complimentary toiletries are provided. The family bathroom is downstairs.  

Kitchen: the good sized kitchen is fitted out to a high specification, complete with granite worktops, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board, kettle and toaster etc.

General facilities: central heating, telephone,  quality linen provided. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. Cot and high chair available on request.

Dining: Seating for 4. The dining area is bright open-plan area with patio doors out onto a terrace overlooking the Abbey Church. Garden furniture is provided - seating for 4.

Entertainment: Satellite FreeView TV, stereo, board games, books, children’s toys and games.  

Regret, no smokers or pets allowed in this cottage. 

There is no broadband installed in this cottage but you can use free wifi in the club room just a short walk through the cloisters.  Make an evening of it - play some snooker, or chess - tea and coffee is available in the club room kitchen.
